I'm Jon Peake.

I've been a writer all my working life - working mostly in journalism - and have written articles on every subject you can imagine - from news, sport and lifestyle content to exploding cows and tiny humanoids (don't ask)!

I've got three sons, Joshua, Jacob and Ethan - all grown up now, but when they were little I used to make up bedtime stories for them, which they absolutely loved.

The adventures of Jacob McFee stories were their favourites (well certainly Jacob's) and I vowed one day to get them illustrated and published - and that day has finally arrived.

This is the first of three Jacob McFee books I have written, Jacob and the Pirate Ship, with the others to follow.
